· Working with network services and port configurations

· Configuring and managing networks

· Network troubleshooting techniques

· Network performance monitoring tools (Wireshark, NetFlow)

Capstone project: Designing a small network

Week 7-8: Introduction to Cyber Security

· Overview of cyber threats and vulnerabilities

· Types of attacks (phishing, malware, DDoS, etc.)

Cyber security frameworks and best practices

· Securing network infrastructure (firewalls, VPNs, encryption)

· Intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS)

· Configuring and managing network security policies

· Implementing encryption (SSL/TLS, IPSec, VPN)

· Securing email and web traffic

· Multi-factor authentication and password policies

Week 12-13: Cyber Security Best Practices

· Incident response and recovery strategies

· Performing penetration testing and vulnerability scanning

· Ethical hacking and security audits

· Designing and securing a network infrastructure

· Conducting vulnerability assessments and reporting

· Presenting the final project
